An exploration into breathing, and how it relates to the execution of Pilates exercises.
Come to Geri Taylor’s workshop to learn about the intimate connection between breath and movement – how breathing affects movement, and how movement affects breath.
Workshop participants will come away with a deep understanding of the mechanics of breathing and the diaphragm, and the importance of breath in Pilates exercises. Participants will undertake apparatus exercises designed to improve the breath, open the chest, stretch the ribcage and bring awareness to how the breath and exercises work together.
