- Instructor Training
Helen New is one of our Faculty Educators and Presenters for National Pilates Training. Helen is also a Principal Practitioner of The Pilates Method and Owner/Manager of two studios, Precision Pilates Parkdale and Precision Pilates Windsor.
Helen has an extensive background in all styles of dance and has been a lover of the Pilates Method since her early 20’s.
After 20 years of being a client of the Pilates Method, Helen decided to transition from teaching dance to Pilates. She completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW) and followed this up very quickly with her Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (91490NSW) both through National Pilates Training.
Since then Helen has continued learning with various instructors both in Australia and overseas and is passionate about continuing her own journey as well as assisting her staff and students to continue learning and growing as instructors.
Within her own practice, Helen sees a wide variety of clients from professional dancers working on general body conditioning through to rehabilitative work, particularly in the area of Women’s Health and Scoliosis. Scoliosis in particular has become an area of passion for her and she sees many clients with this condition as well as presenting workshops nationally.
