With Geri Taylor

An exploration into breathing, and how it relates to the execution of Pilates exercises.

Come to Geri Taylor’s workshop to learn about the intimate connection between breath and movement – how breathing affects movement, and how movement affects breath.

Learn about:

  • the role of the diaphragm in breathing
  • causes of breathing problems such as asthma and COPD
  • the effects of poor breathing
  • current research in breathing and exercise.

Workshop participants will come away with a deep understanding of the mechanics of breathing and the diaphragm, and the importance of breath in Pilates exercises.
