Getting Started

Over six 2.5 hour weekly sessions, this Introduction to the Pilates Method short course will introduce you the participant, to the life-changing concepts, principles and foundations of the Pilates Method.

This course is an investment in self-care. A learning journey which will leave you with an enhanced mind-body connection, motivating you to make Pilates a part of your everyday life for improved mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

The program will include some take home activities and exercises, encouraging daily practice at home between each contact session. The daily practice, supported and directed during weekly contact sessions, will build confidence and develop the knowledge to facilitate effective self-directed practice of the Pilates matwork at a basic level.

Course delivery

  • Face to face delivery commencing 24th October 2019
  • 6 contact sessions
  • Thursday evenings (5:30pm – 8:00pm) over 6 consecutive weeks
  • Additional activities & exercises for daily practice at home

Course Cost

The total course cost is $640. This includes:

  • $575 course fee
  • $65 application fee

Who is your instructor?

Mel Plozza
Faculty Educator & Assessor

Mel is a qualified and experienced Pilates instructor with an Advanced Diploma in the Pilates method, and a Faculty Educator and Assessor with National Pilates Training.

Mel is passionate about the Pilates method, as well as assisting her clients with their health & fitness goals.

Training Location

All contact sessions will be completed with National Pilates Training at the Melbourne CBD Aligned for Life Pilates Studio — a first-class training facility in a convenient city location.
