The Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (10839NAT) qualification builds the required skills and knowledge for both clinical application and advanced level exercise prescription and programming of the Pilates Method within a fully equipped Pilates studio in the traditional setting. The study of the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (10839NAT) includes Advanced level repertoire across all the traditional Pilates apparatus including Pilates Reformer, Pilates Wunda Chair, Pilates Cadillac/Trapeze, Pilates Ped-a-Pul, Pilates Ladder Barrel, Pilates Spine Corrector, Pilates Baby Arc, Pilates Matwork, as well as the study of strategies for high-risk rehab and high-end level repertoire for sports conditioning and performance enhancement.
Become a Pilates practitioner – level 6 qualification (AQF) equivalent of an associate degree recognised with a health industry outcome specialising in rehabilitation and the development of skills and strategies for advanced high-performance enhancement, sitting at the peak of the Pilates industry.
Online – Live Zoom Delivery
This student will be self-directed for the essential knowledge acquisition in the NPT eLearn and supported for the desired building of practicable skills with the “Live Zoom” scheduled sessions in the form of Repertoire Practice Sessions & Tutorials working alongside peers, coached and mentored by our knowledgeable and highly experienced NPT Senior Faculty. This student, choosing this method of delivery, enjoys social contact, interacting with peers, receiving feedback, wants the support and coaching from our NPT Senior Faculty in reaching their desired outcome in a reasonable timeframe.
Students completing Live Zoom studies must also undertake a number of either simulated or real work experience.
In-Person

By completing the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (10839NAT) you become one of the few Pilates professionals in Australia certified to instruct healthy to moderate risk level clients, teach up to the late intermediate repertoire on all apparatus and manage a Pilates/health practice. Advanced Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (10538NAT)
Work placement
Work placement hours are practical hours devoted to applying what you have learned in the course in a studio environment. All students will commence with observation, and are then cleared to commence teaching work experience on an individual basis.
For Advanced Diploma students, work placement can be completed at your principal place of work or an Affiliated Studio that has attained our Work Placement Facilitation Site (WPFS) accreditation.

Direct Credit (DC), Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Current Competency (RCC)
